This manga is an uncomfortable read, in the best possible way. It portrays something that people who have suffered from depression might be able to read. The characters are wonderfully debased and they feel free to express the darkest sides of themselves. They feel sympathetic, even though you know they're making the wrong choices. It's cathartic in a way to see these characters be so darkly sexual. The characters are well written and accurately shown. Everyone in the series has their own cross to bear, and it shows how they affect people in a negative way. It is a series that will really make you think about the reason for living and the effects of a suicidal high schooler who is trying to find his purpose in life.
