In my opinion this is the worst manga currently serialized by Jump. Perhaps if you watched the original anime, you might enjoy this, but if you've never seen it, don't bother.

For me the worst part is the art. There are rarely any backgrounds or basic details like shading. The whole thing is a jarring white and black, and its almost impossible to tell what in the world is going on. For a series that relies heavily on the art to convey whats going on (dialog and exposition is minimal), clear art is a must. I mean, even ONE draws better than this.

The story feels like it started halfway through, characters are introduced with no background or information and I still don't understand what the plot is. None of the characters seem to have any compelling motivations or anything to make them interesting and different from each other.

Its a shame really, it seems like a story that might be good, if the adaptation wasn't so horribly managed.
