Super Mario Adventures: Mario no Daibouken review

The Super Mario manga is legit amazing.
No joke. It was originally published in Nintendo power magazines, so you would expect it to basically be a long ad for the games. But, it actually manages to pull of a very fun story. It gives the characters personality. Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser all are real multidimensional characters. I also really like the artwork. Since the manga is more funny than anything else, it's nice to see that the characters are also drawn funny. Now, I'm not saying the story is a masterpiece. It's just a fun read for Mario fans that's worth revisiting many many times. I love this manga and I recommend it. You can buy it pretty cheap under the title of Super Mario Adventures. It's one of the surprising best video game adaptations I've read.
