Sommaire
King Bowser, a nasty dragon-like creature, wants to marry the pretty Princess Toadstool of the Mushroom Kingdom, a fantasy world where such things like Kinopi (Mushroom) people live. Bowser then threatens the Princess into marriage with him by turning the residents of the Mushroom Kingdom into stone. As the Princess heads to get her revenge on the tyrant, the Mario brothers, two plumbers who've somehow winded up in the Mushroom Kingdom, venture out to stop Princess Toadstool before she creates even more trouble, all the while defeating Bowser in the process.

Super Mario Adventures: Mario no Daibouken review
If you’re a Nintendo fan, you most likely don’t need to read this review – this has the Nintendo label on it, so you’ll probably enjoy it no matter the actual content.
On the contrary, if you’re someone who’s not that fond of Nintendo works or doesn’t have nostalgia towards Mario, this won’t be as good read to you. It’s practically undistinguishable from 90’s western comics from kids – both the artstyle and the story. Of course the pages were flipped for the English release too. It’s colourful, sure, but the art itself just isn’t interesting at all, especially for what is technically a manga. The story depth is at the level of Mickey Mouse and the character depth is as what you would expect from characters originating from non-story driven child’s game. Overall, read it if you want a sort of curiosity as part of your manga list of if you’re a die-hard Nintendo/Mario fan, otherwise no need to lose time with this one. |
Super Mario Adventures: Mario no Daibouken review
Making a review just because there isn't one yet. If you are looking for a serious manga, look elsewhere. This one volume, thirteen chapter series is fun, comedic, and quick/easy to read.
Story: 7/10 Two brothers, Mario and Luigi, are hapless plumbers (I'm sure you already knew that) who were working on the pipes in Princess Peach's castle. When out of nowhere some giant pipes start jutting up from the ground through which miscellaneous Koopas emerge to wreak havoc. Bowser also makes an appearance in his koopa copter and gives Peach an ultimatum. Either marry him or her people will be turned to stone. Thus the adventure begins when everybody jumps through the giant pipe. Art: 7/10 What do you expect? It was made in the early 90's and is based on a video game. The art could be described as cartoonish. I happen to like it. Characters: I'm giving them a 9/10 just because. It's the characters we all know. Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Yoshi, Peach, the koopalings, etc.. And if you have stuck around to read this review until now then I'm sure that you, as do I, love them. Or you're at least a fan of them. Enjoyment and Overall: I'd say it is a solid 7/10. I enjoyed this and reading it brought back a lot of nostalgic feelings. If you are a fan of Mario in general or if you just want something to pass the time then this is definitely worth the read. |
Super Mario Adventures: Mario no Daibouken review
This is the Comic Book I read, This is about Mario and Luigi try to do an adventure but there's Yoshi.
but I like to say about this comic book, I'm a Mario lover because I like the Franchise and best characters for my day. Peach is still defensing of Bowser but Bowser is still a perv and a cutie big rat, he is attempting or obsessed with the Princess but Mario is a nice guy over the years Story 8/10 Art 9/10 Characters 10/10 Enjoyment 10/10 Overall 10/10 anyway my Mom bought this comic book for Christmas but I love it! thanks |
