Agravity Boys review

Agravity honestly started off really strong with an interesting premise of 4 spacemen who were the last humans after the Earth kicked the bucket. It started off interesting by giving us a goal of finding a way to keep humanity going and exploring a whole universe of interesting planets and the possibility of seeing tons of aliens sounded great yet 34 chapters later it's become a monotonous mess of a series with no real identity. The series is constantly using the same few jokes or dragging jokes out for multiple chapters making it simply annoying. For a more gag oriented series it's more interested in explaining jokes rather than telling them. The characters started interesting but they're all so dull and uninspired from Chris, who looks like a girl (that's the only joke), Baba who's a horny sex addict engineer which could sound interesting if they ever actually did anything with him, Saga their leader, who has no real personality whatsoever other than "being a punk", and Geralt the scientist who is the smartest but more of a goofball than the rest of them. The series just drags on with annoying exposition dumps and pointless over-descriptive dialogue and the tone is all over the place. Honestly if you want a more interesting sci-fi gag series with fu, well-written characters with a really interesting world, just read or watch Gintama instead.
