Niji to Kuro review

Is it a Bird? Is it a hedgehog with a human face? I don't exactly know, but It's the cutest damn thing I've ever seen.

This a manga for pet lovers. ALL pet lovers, because this manga is about the joy of finding companionship in...something. The Titular protagonist "Kuro" gets fired from her job after an act of self-defence and finds herself struggling with the monochrome state of her reality. When She finds a mysterious critter abandoned on the streets, her world becomes full of prismatic color. If you have an animal companion in your life, you know exactly the kind of heartwarming and adorable whimsy that's in store for you.

The art is clean and simple (but extremely expressive), and so is the premise...and the humor is fantastic; page after page. To sum it up, if you want to read a manga about the most captivatingly kawaii creature that's ever been imagined, I recommend it highly!

You'll be saying "AWWWWWW!" until the very end
