Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F review

There is really nothing much to be said about this manga. Dragon Ball Z:Fukkatsu no "F" is a tie in to the movie of the same name, but you will get more enjoyment watching the movie instead.

The movie and manga plots are nearly identical, but what may work for a Dragon Ball movie doesn't necessarily work for a manga. How do I explain this? A manga needs to be more than just fighting scenes. The same can be said about the movie, sure, but the movies also has jokes during those fight scenes. The jokes on the manga are not as numerous.

The plot is the following: Frieza is revived by soldiers of his fallen empire, and he decides to plot a revenge on Son Goku, the man who humiliated him and thwarted his plans before he died. He decides to train for the first time on his life.

The manga is incomplete. It ends with "Find out what happens in the movie!", and I did. I also discovered the movie had a better structure and jokes.

It its pointless to read this manga, unless you want to complete your collection of the Dragon Ball Super manga. If there is anything nice I have to say about the manga, is the artwork. The new guy, Toyotaro, does a great work, not surprising, this guy drew a fancomic of Dragon Ball for years. I say is a welcome addition to the staff.
