Himegimi to Sanbiki no Kemono

This was a super cute and enjoyable manga. The characters were absolutely wonderful and they developed so well in the span of just 12 chapters. I wouldn't have minded if this were lengthened into a much more complex and detailed story. And even while I definitely could have continued to read much much more of this, the ending was still very well done and left me feeling pretty satisfied and It was not too heart wrenching to say goodbye to the characters and move on to my next discovery. (I often have a difficult time allowing my heart to find a new manga to love). Anyways, this was a super fun and interesting story that I wouldn't mind reading again!

I've decided to leave just a small review, as the others went through most of it all already.
The story is good, interesting maybe, but it lacks depth, the art mediocore and the enjoyment quite lacking. But I have a big ass praise to give. The characters or rather the character develpoment of the heroine. She really changes through the story and we get to see it all. Sure, she has her weak moments +, but she is a fine example of a character development well done. Although i only gave it a 6, i'd still recommend this manga, if nothing else, for the heroine we get to see grow. Good job!

I have to say that story-wise, I was quite satisfied. This is a great coming-of-age story about a princess that leaves the castle to discover the outside world. She discovers how other people live and uncovers the past of the characters she travels with. Furthermore, there is enough light hearted humor to balance the more serious aspects of the plot.

The travelers move from town to town and encounter a lot of characters, and a lot of times they put themselves in danger to complete a certain mission, the princess included. Though Violet can't defend herself at first because of her upbringing as a pampered princess, she does become stronger in character and personality throughout the chapters.

The art was fantastic and the storyline was pretty great. I was just disappointed that there were so many side quests before the characters pursued the treasure for the main plot. However, when it did pick up, it was a very thrilling read, especially in the last fourth of the book. Also, it was very obvious what the canon ship was, not that that was bad for me, but it could be for other readers. I feel as if the romance between the two could be developed a little bit better, like there could have been more to it, but I think the end made up for it.

I really like the story, when I read the synopsis i was intriguing.
Overall i love it I hope more updates on these there are so much good looking guys ang pretty girls here, also a unique story line :D

anyway for me it was kinda short, for now im reading unti vol 2, i might get a copy of this if ever it has an english copy here in our country.

This was one of the first manga i ever read! This manga, Fruits Basket, and Kaichou wa Maid-sama (among others) are the reasons why i still love Romance shoujo! This manga also opened a new world for me considering i had a bit of a tough time finding shoujo anime that i really loved after a while. So i went searching and typed in 'hime' randomly and poof there it was! Before this i had only read Fruits Basket and that was after the disappointment i felt after finding out there wouldn't be a season 2. After that i started reading manga more and more and started to seriously become an otaku. Well i'm proud of it, anyway, i reread this manga to this day because it's so damn satisfying!

This is one of the few shoujo mangas where I felt really satisfied with the ending. ;) I love how the princess is a strong-willed and open-minded one and not the type to be easily swayed by other people's words and actions. Violet and Crow's personalities are a perfect mix for me. Kuchinawa and Renard are interesting characters too! I'd give this series a 9/10.. I would have given it a perfect 10 if it were a bit longer. >.< Anyways, love this series, this is definitely a must read!
