Just thought I would make a quick review as there isn't any unless someone else posts one. Also, this contains what could be very helpful opinions and info.

"My New Wife Is Forcing Herself to Smile" honestly isn't something I would regard as monumental in the romance mix in the slightest. If anything, it is rather generic. Though that doesn't make it bad. The story is simple. It follows husband Sanjirou and wife Chiyo in their daily lives of trying to understand one another relationship-wise. From the 1st chapter, it is evident that they are both in love, and that there is no toxicity—only light lust really—with each other, though Chiyo makes it challenging to understand for Sanjirou due to her forced smile. Expect a load of misunderstandings and wholesome moments. Characters, more so Sanjirou, are dense in the name of storytelling, and as of now there is nothing I would call development, or maybe you can call it that, but it is lacking in terms of Sanjirou understanding what Chiyo actually thinks of him. Other side characters seem forgettable, in terms of getting used to names rather than forgetting their actions. But overall, this is a general romance story that isn't different to anything else. But hey, I like this, wholesome fluff is a plus in my book.

Artistic side and I can't say anything about it that would give its own signature to boast with. Simple drawings going on here, though, a few panels look well made and may be something you will remember when thinking about this manga, one for me would be goddess Chiyo hair.

But yeah, this is just a simple romance story. Would I recommend it? Sure, though I would keep this on hold rather than letting yourself read it soon. Wait for this to finish publishing and read it in one go when you have time. Only 4 pages per chapter too so nothing to fuss about.

We will just call it a 6/10 for now.
