Shounen Jump are really going that far to money off the denegrates. Honestly what do you get when you mix the To Love Ru and the Setting of Love Hina, When get this trash of an Ecchi Harem by Jump. I kinda have a Like/Hate relationship with this Harem Manga/Anime.

Plot

The story is about Kogarashi, a spirit/psychic medium who’s living in the Haunted Inn with Yuna and other girls, and his goal is to figure out what lingering regret she is to have her ascend to the afterlife. There are instances where the gang have to solve cases involving malicious spirits or mysterious cases involving myths.

Unfortunately, the show barely addresses this until like 120 chaps later sort of in one arc and as a result there’s no real plot, and not sure this had any intent of having it all since comes off as loose. It’s a slice of life comedy based on the interactions between the Inn members and the ecchi fanservice situations Kogarashi finds himself in and the Occurence of Spirits causing or need mystery solving. I really don't like how it tried shoehorn a Shounen esque plotline when Kogarashi Master makes an Appearance for that one Arc and just disappears after that and that arc just happens without prior buildup when it was just a Meh beach chap but I was kinda interested( Honestly Rosario Vampire did this better with it structure the Harem elements and the Shounen Elements).


The comedy is mostly miss since they used and recycle establish Ecchi Harem jokes that are seen before in To Love Ru and Love Hina. The repetitive bed scenes where Yuuna is naked, Kogarashi ends up fumbling her, Yuuna starts blushing, misunderstands the situation and uses her polygermism to send him flying out the window gets old REALLY FAST to the point it's predictable along with other Jokes of the MC getting into Ecchi situations with other characters. Like it wasn’t funny the first time in the Anime/Manga and it's a turnoff due to how how many times it was repeated each episode making it a tasteless running gag.


It’s as if the writers lacks any variety besides cringey ecchi scenes with girls misunderstanding the situation Kogarashi is placed in because none of them have enough common sense to let him explain what happened which is basically the equivalent of the accidental pervert joke, but there are instances where they are aware of the situation they're in and don't blame the MC maliciously which is kind of a saving grace.


Most of the Comedy derives from Situation humor and reactionary straight man Dialogue or Expressions which can quickly get predictable and repetitive. There are also Slice of Life Events that take place among each of the female characters that usual have them do day to day activities. There are times where it can be Wholesome in a Slice a way but those are too FAR in between.


There's this repetitive gag where Characters get transported to different places or Worlds( kind of ripped off TLR with game world in Chap 79) or get affected by external effects due to the Housemaid's spirit items or Raccoon girl's transformations and transportations and it instantly becomes a Fanservice Fest of Sexually Exposing the Characters as Much As Possible. Or When the MC gets turned into Various Objects that the Girls HAPPEN to put on their bodies like turning into Soap, Clothing, Body Pillow and etc. It's VERY BAD sign where this is done multiple times in a Harem Comedy, or a regular Comedy, and just shows a Lack of Creativity.


This brings me to my next point, there’s way too much fanservice in this Manga and Anime like I know it's an Ecchi Harem but It OVERDOES it like most chapters storylines only objective is to expose naked or in embarrassing sexual positions as much as it can in accordance with Jump Censorship and most of the Time it can come off as force or ridiculous and cheap humor( There was one point when Chisaki trips and against the laws of physics lands on MC's head while her panties is put on his face so yeah ridiculous). Most of the Manga chapters always start off with Pictures of the Female Characters Sexually Expose or very Suggestive positions in one way or form

onestly the Author should've just published in a Seinen Smut Magazine where he could've went balls to wall with Fanservice since he's not being subtle with it and show nipples. I know stuff like To Love Ru had Fanservice but it lies entirely on execution and the way the episodic stories play out wheter the point is to sexually expose the female characters in tasteful manner or provide something funny first and fanservice 2nd.

It BARELY caters to a variety of fetishes as it MOSTLY just has Bigger Breasts attached to Character archetypes that have Long Hair honestly it gets to point where there isn't any distinct variety of Sexual Attraction except when the Characters are in Different Outfits and gets stripped of them or Smaller Breasted Short Haired Characters.


The crazy thing about this Manga is that there's BARELY ANY doujins available to point that it's Shocking like Seriously Most of the Chapters are just Doijin stories, which they're only 13 on nhentai, being Self Written. We Never Learn has more Doujins, which I personally find that it has better art than the original, than this series which is like 60 and that Manga and its art is BARELY ECCHI and To Love Ru comes at a Whooping over a 1000 and compared to Yuuna it's EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING as an Ecchi Harem series.

The Romance ranges from Non-existent, forcily developed, or just really poorly written and/or stupidly developed and they all entirely from the female perspective and that might be good but it comes at the expense of not giving any perspective from the MC and feels that he's barely aware of they feel about him and vice versa.

Characters

The characters are one of the weakest parts of the show and manga. The girls are walking cookie cutters with distinct designs but come off as unmemorable. However, they are cliche stereotypes, or clone cookie cutter, and they barely have any other personality quirks outside those archetypes that don’t have much character development throughout the season and barely any in the ENTIRE FUCKING MANGA as it's currently ongoing.

Yuuna is basically your cute and sexy Pure Maiden that easily gets flustered at any Ecchi Moment. As of Currently in the Manga, I still don't FUCKING KNOW her regret of still remaining a ghost and I only know that she's part of the Tenko Spirit Family and etc( It's difficult to care what was going on in that Arc)


Sagiri is your typical tsundere that gets Pissed off When Kogarashi ACCIDENTLY Peeps on her and just starts to love him out of FUCKING NOWHERE with next to no Development. She's also a Chunin Ninja that can fight spirits but her Spirit Armor gets Strips her Naked when taken damage( Sounds like Senran Kagura)


Nonko is a alcoholic, which counts as her source of power apparently big boob half naked girl who's a shojo mangaka which is addressed only once in the Entire Series, and just there to be lively. ( This Character was done better in Vanessa from Black Clover) She's very Ditzy and Air headed and also some type Oni. Most Generic archetype used the most bland way.


Oboro is a bootleg Xenovia (from Highschool DxD) that wants Kogarashi’s babies and also manages to also Ripoff Momo from To Love Ru of trying to build him a Harem. No Seriously that's Her ENTIRE CHARACTER THROUGHOUT OUT THE MANGA AND ANIME. Her Personality is very Static being Kundere and is Barely fleshed outside of that Stereotype. The Only Time when she's BARELY ENTERTAINING is when she appears out of nowhere or tries to Seduce Hibari in chap 184.

Kogarashi is your self-insert, Uber Virgin, mostly bland, retired Shounen MC( the Manga referenced Yu Yu Hakusho at one point) with a shitty psychic power, that doesn't developed, of punching spirts really hard with only 1 fist. He started off with some form of personality with his expressive dialogue and being a poor spirit medium with a rough past but that eventually becomes a sparse character trait but he becomes a flanderized MC that gets into Perveted Accidents with Girls ALL THE FUCKING TIME. I swear, it's kind of annoying when writer pulls the convenient deus ex machina ghost possession excuse for everything situation Kogarashi is in or to explain why he’s so good at something. It makes the story predictable because it happens so often.

Honestly does he deserve the Harem since He's In Love with NO ONE. Also, it's annoying when the MC’s power is simple/basic compared to the supporting cast instead of something weak like an OP punch and lacks creativity.( Rosario Vampire did this better with its MC and his Ghoul powes) The Only thing funny about him was where he fucked off the females and in favor of hanging out his friend, who's a typical pervert character, in one Chap


Chisaki is the only who feels more “real” and well rounded than the rest of the girls. She's just that "normal" girl that gets involved in perverted accidents with the MC and offers very little regarding personality and Character Dynamics.


Hibari is a Chunin Ninja and Sagiri's Cousin that wants our MC to be a decent person but Winds up Fallen in love him because he's OP as fuck and has power and is more willingly to let herself to be in Ecchi situations with MC. The Dumbest Development she's had was not minding that he looks at her panties by accident.


Hiouga Karura is feels like 50% an Oboro Clone and Snobby Rich Girl Archetype and revisiting her character introduction she came off as unlikable as she just came out of Nowhere on the MC's Birthday's of all times and kidnaps him just so she can fuck his brains out and forced him into marriage due to his Ultimate Spirit Power.


Sounds like a Seductive Rapist( And also Stalker Creep) but claims to be a fan of him like the Obsess kind and got jealous when he was with other girls Like Yuuna and can be TOO Slutty. She Also belongs to a one of the 3 great spirit families. Honestly introduction to the Story just repeats the SAME FUCKING PLOT POINT from when Yuuna got kidnapped and forced in the marriage earlier on in the manga.


Yaya is just the nonchalant cat girl who's just there to hang out and to be the cute Loli that eats a lot and contributes next to nothing to anything with her Kuudere personality. So Basically a Koneko Clone without any form of personality outside the archetype.

Koyuzu is a Raccoon girl that can transform shit and is a total Boob Maniac which is her entire character and it gets stale.

Honestly, I can't determine any best girls because they're not written in a way that I can consider them best girls it's basically just choose your Favorite Character Archetype among the Waifu War just like We Never Learn and be done with it. There's no work given in to how The MC would interact with the Girls on Daily Basis or how well Compatible they are or just relies on Who Wants to Cuck him First and tasteless perverted situations and forced development. I swear the Author has no sense of creativity.

Manga Art and Anime Animation

Honestly One of the Few things that impressed me was the Art of the Manga. Really All the Characters are well desingned and have a certain type of polish to their clothing and their figures similar to Food Wars even though the Author relies on Having a lot of Girls with Big Breasts and revealing figures, except for 3 which are Oboro and Hibari and The Housemaid. There's plenty of pretine detail when it comes to certain panels with the black coloring and the line work.

The animation of the anime is can feel lifeless since it was done by Xebec while the Artstlye feels very Colorfully Bland. The way that characters is very Average and the little action there is passable. The Anime stops at around chapter 36 I believe there's more MINDLESS content to feast your imaginative boners on.

Overall

Despite the harsh criticisms, I can still find this show and manga to be at most readable to point I'm reading it for the Art and to see it end and something new takes it's place Despite relying it self to be trashy to sell it's volumes and popularity polls, I did genuinely like reading/watching Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs Inn last year when the anime started broadcasting but looking at it as a whole and currently reading it weekly and find myself being annoyed and disappointed with everything it tries to do when it could've been better. It can be something fun to indulge in if you're a degenerates and find something to fap to and just laugh at the mere stupidity, but not enough to overlook it's apparent flaws and Missteps where other Harems have avoided and done better at.

A complete High 5 to low 6 out of 10

Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san, or Yuuna of the Haunted Hot Springs, brings you the adventures of a psychic teenager named Fuyuzora Kogarashi as he moves into a house that's not only haunted by the earthbound spirit of a pretty girl, but also home to several women who aren't quite what they appear to be.

Unsurprisingly, Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san is a combination ecchi/harem (heavy on the ecchi), that seems to focus more on the next panty or boob shot than it does putting together an interesting story. Lots of situations the characters find themselves in are generic at best, and outright cliched and predictable at worst.

That being said, the manga does occasionally get it right with a heartwarming scene, though these are few and far between.

The art itself is absolutely beautiful, and it's probably the main reason why I've continued reading, even though the ecchi scenes have caused me to resort to rolling my eyes every time they show up. Which, unfortunately for me, is extremely often.

The characters themselves are reminiscent of other characters from other titles; there's the large-breasted alcoholic mangaka/novelist who could be the twin sister of Kitsune from Love Hina. Similarly, there's the serious, beautiful tsundere ninja/swordswoman who very similarly resembles Motoko from the same title. We have the sweet schoolmate (why hello, Sairenji Haruna) who may or may not be falling in love with the protagonist. Then there's the deadpan girl who takes her job way too seriously who decides she wants to have the main character's babies (Xenovia?! This isn't High School DxD!)

You've seen all of these characters before, just with slightly different appearances, so I wouldn't expect to find too many new faces. However, we do have a couple of novelties; there's Fushiguro Yaya, a quiet girl who shows many catlike tendencies, and Shigaraki Koyuzu, a little tanuki who's obsessed with large breasts.

The bottom line is, if you're looking for some well-drawn boobs and naked girls, this is perfect for you. If you want a deep, meaningful storyline...well, you might want to look elsewhere.

I started to read the manga because the anime was kinda disappointing, although I am an avid consumer of this genre (or precisely because of it) I found very little things of interest in Yuragi, their characters weren’t unique or memorable, at most Yuuna deserve a little of recognition, the art was standard and their stories converge all the cliches of ecchi and romantic comedies of the last decade. I found it some draws of the manga, so I decided give it a try, found it with almost exactly the same.

Miura is an amazing artist, is one of the works best drawn in the Jump, his trace has force and energy, if he decides go full shonen, has the scale and level of detail for be one of the best in the magazine. If he chooses Fanservice exhibits all a capacity for draw girls of all proportions, even I wanna a doujinshi of his own. One of the best talents right now in the Jump, I will say that his biggest lack of are the backgrounds, more surely he does not take care of them and doesn’t matter, the models of his characters don’t let time to consider the other elements, seriously, 10/10.

But his ability like a writer it’s all a different matter, and here I don’t have good adjectives to describe it. The characters in the anime just were a superficial representation of usual archetypes, according I was advancing more chicks appear, but none of them win the attention or rivals with Yuuna, the concentration of the interest still remains in 3 attitudes or reactions. Event To Love Ru do a better job with the variety of situations, here are beyond the absurd, his only attractive is the ilustration. A success that quickly burned itself by the quantity of repetition.

Neither Kogarashi is a good MC, too perfect and idealized it for gain the attention. So the big interest remains in the story, apparition of rivals and similar, to the moment of let in in these tones happen a big twist with few important values involved at thematic level, even better, don’t exist, all the developments are predictable character growths, of understand and accept themselves, there isn’t bigger message or thematic than link each element.

None story arc is especially memorable, all their develops are almost the same, with overpower and some big ending movement, the context that encloses such fights, I mean, the mythology for the story, its interesting and dense. So well-constructed that easily can diverge conflicts of the key points of it. I won't be bothered if coming back to this world, has a lot for give.

Despite the big attractive of the universe, doesn’t reflects on the implications of their arcs, are quite standard, just guided to the grown of the characters, and this don’t event reach a full cohesion, again, is to the drift. The best moments are when (and despite certain character) can be totally serious, Miura knows how write a drama, is his next work has a more mature tone, full of hot girls, will be awesome.

¿I had regret it? Neither, has been a entertaining watch because don’t uncomfortable or hate anything, I just missed that could be much more considering the good level of the rest in the work. Its just a work with a high artistic level but mediocre story and content.

I wait his next work, I hope will be a step forward in the right direction.

Comencé a leer el manga porque el anime me había decepcionado, pese a ser ávido consumir de este género (o precisamente por eso) encontré muy poco de interés en Yuragi, sus personajes no me resultaban único o recordables, a lo mucho sólo Yuuna merece un poco de reconocimiento, el arte era bastante estándar y sus historias reunían todos los clichés de las comedias ecchi de la última década. Me topé con algunas ilustraciones del manga, entonces decidí darle un intento, encontrándome con casi exactamente lo mismo.

Miura es un increíble dibujante, es de las obras con mejor dibujo de la Jump, su trazo tiene fuerza y energía, si decide ir full Shonen, cuenta con escala y detalle para ser de los mejores de la revista. Si opta por Fanservice exhibe toda una capacidad para dibujar chicas de todas las proporciones, hasta quisiera un doujinshi suyo. De los mejores talentos actualmente en la Jump, diría que sus mayores faltas son los fondos, más seguramente ni se encargará de ellos y no importa, los modelados de sus personajes no dejan tiempo a considerar otros elementos, de verdad, 10/10.

Pero su habilidad de escritor es otro asunto, y aquí si no tengo adjetivos positivos que brindar. Los personajes en el anime sólo me parecían caracterizaciones superficiales de arquetipos frecuentes, y conforme fui avanzando más chicas aparecen, pero ninguna capta la atención o rivaliza con Yuuna, la concentración de su interés siguen en 3 actitudes o reacciones. Hasta To Love Ru hacía mejor trabajo con la variedad de sus situaciones, aquí son ridículamente absurdas, su único atractivo es el dibujo. Un acierto que rápidamente se quema por la cantidad de repetición.

Tampoco Kogarashi es un buen protagonista, demasiado perfecto e idealizado para captar la atención del lector. Así que la concentración del interés se centra en los arcos que conforme va construyendo mientras va avanzando la historia, aparición de rivales y similares, al suceder da un radical giro para entrar en tal sintonía, cuando ocurre pocos son los valores involucrados a nivel temático, mejor, no existen, todos son desarrollos de personaje en busca de entenderse a sí mismo y crecer, no hay mayor mensaje o temática que enlace cada elemento.

Ningún arco es particularmente memorable, todos se desarrollan de maneras similares, con ridículas escalas de poder y algún gran golpe final, eso sí, el contexto que encierra tales enfrentamientos, ósea, la mitología de la historia, es densa e interesante. Tan bien construido que fácilmente pueden divergir conflictos a partir de los puntos claves de la misma. En algún momento no me molestaría regresar a este mundo, tiene mucho para dar y brindar.

Pese al atractivo del universo, no se refleja en las implicaciones de sus arcos, son bastante estándar meramente guiados al crecimiento de los personajes, el cuál no termina de encuadrarse, nuevamente, va hacia la deriva. Los mejores momentos es cuando (y a pesar de cierto personaje) puede ponerse completamente serio, Miura sabe hacer drama, si su próxima serie tuviera un tono más serio con mujeres hermosas, lo borda completamente.

¿Lo he lamentado? Tampoco, ha sido una lectura entretenida porque no incomoda ni se odia nada, sólo echo de menos que podría haber dado más considerando lo pulido que son los otros elementos. Sólo es una obra de alto nivel artístico de mediocre historia y contenido.

Espero su próximo trabajo, espero sea un paso adelante hacia la dirección correcta.

Yuragisou no Yuuna-san - if you read the description above I'm sure you all know what it's generally about so lets skip that part and get right into the review.

Story - the story of this book tbh it doesn't really have a solid story in the begin they introduce us to the mc and the fact that he's a spirit medium and it also shows where it seems the mc has an unusual amount of it, he also talks about how he wants to send spirits to the afterlife etc. From this you would think the story would focus more on battles with him fighting against different demons and so on but then later they introduce the other characters in the story and he develop another goal to allow one of the main heroine Yuna to past on. This to me can be seen as a minor plot line and the mc don't go around every episode looking for ways to let her past on and he also doesn't fight spirits so much (it’s rare to see him actually fight any). So, looking at that I guess you would like to ask "So there isn't any story!?" and I'll tell you yes there is but it's use wrongly. First before I go in depth on why I say that I would like to point out that the author should of place this book into shojou manga instead of Shounen manga, the story main plotline revolves around most of the girls who already figure out that they like the mc and are trying to find ways to get closer to him or make him take note of them more (confess), our mc is use as a source for all of the love and more inline as the girl’s final gold to make him fall in love with one of them. Which means the story focus way more on the girl’s point of view then from the mc point of view seeing them think and talk about the mc all the time and the actually character rarely having any screen time, he's more fit to be call a support character. If I rate the story as a Shounen manga I will give it a - 5/10 but as a story on the hold I would give it a solid - 7.5/10


Art - the art to me is perfect it's almost just like Shokugeki no Souma, I think I read somewhere that says the creator for this book is the teacher for Shokugeki no Souma which explains why the art looks so much alike. Art - 10/10


Character - the characters on this show is really likable and makes it hard to choose a fav and most of the girls get quite a lot of character development and it's well paced the only problem with character development is the fact that the MC is being left out and he doesn't have much of a character improvement due to the fact that he's piratically place in support and he’s one of the only character in the main group to not have scenes by himself, the other characters in the book usually go in a cycle where they each have a chapter dedicated to them and which shows they’re character development sometimes it would only mainly show them and then the mc might pop up like a typical support or it may be 2 of the girls sharing the chapter but we’re usually always seeing the story from the girls view and not the guy. As for the mc he sometimes goes a hold chapter without showing up at all and some chapters he only shows up in thought panels, flash backs or ether the begin are ending of the chapter. Due to the lack of the mc actual presence as a mc a lot of us readers tend to not know much about him except for what he told us about him in the begin of the story and his new skills that would show up every now and then, the author is almost treating the mc like how some fathers would treat their children when they have one boy and lots of girls those dad’s that like girl more tend to ignore the boy and only give attention to the girls, also due to this the mc even on his first popularity poll for the story got 6 he wasn’t even place in the top 5, especially if you look at the vote difference (M.C 543 - 1# 3112) can you see that margin it’s huge. I usually have a rule that I believe that all top Shounen manga that is being successful should ensure that there mc at least get number 1 on their first popularity poll and if not then in the top 3 anything below is no different to me from saying your mc is shit I’ve read many different Shounen manga bleach, one piece, Naruto, hero academy, Food wars and many more but all of them have their mc with the right amount of attention and treatment as a mc and makes him the true face of their manga since that’s what he is they also ensure people remember the fact that he’s the mc of this story so no matter how much you may like so and so character you must never forget who the mc is this is how I feel about those stories. In these type of stories we tend to see it from their perspective so we treat the mc as another self of us and we usually know more about him than any other character in the story since we spend more time with him to this result in many times these mc being voted as number 1 in their first popularity polls(who wouldn’t say they’re the best XD).If you search it up you will notice that all those characters were voted as number 1 in their first polls and even in the second if some drop they usually fluctuate between 3-1 and others like luffy are never remove from the number 1 spot he’s the perfect eg of a well done mc any time someone thinks about one piece the first person that comes to mind is luffy, if you think of this story the first person we will think of is the ghost Yuna, she is better label as the main character she represent the face of the story more than the actual mc and she is more easier to remember in terms of name (I bet half of you who read this book can’t even spell the M.C name, I sure can’t). so other than the fact that the mc is treated as a support character he’s a pretty cool character and is very quick to be like and is practically a perfect mc

Enjoyment – I really enjoy this book quite a lot it seems that the creator did a lot of research before writing it so that he can fix a lot of the patches that most harem manga’s have, such as the over the cliff every one lets beat up the mc even if we know he isn’t the cause of the incident, or the dense mc that needs someone to always tell him when something is wrong with the people around him and the wimpy and winy mc that always need saving like a princess. There or many more but one of the biggest one is more female character development, if you look back at the many harem manga’s we read you would notice that most creators tend to just make lots of over the top sexy and slutty looking type of girls flashing left and right without much characteristics other than how they were when they were introduce in the story and most of them tend to fall in love with the mc for stupid and un satisfying reason I mean how would you feel when a girl that’s extremely beautiful falls in love with you just cause you say she’s cute or pretty -__- and when a girl falls in love with you just cause you missed and kiss her or hold her in some way she never experience before I’m sure most people or trying to figure out if she’s a slut to fall in love so easily. After such incident, the girl usually falls head over heels for the guy and barrages him with love all day long every day or she pretends like she doesn’t like him but looks forward for his attention. This story removes such a situation and allow us to see the girls slowly falling in love with the mc step by step through the mc actions that hook their hearts we also watch as they come to realize these feelings and confronting others who share the same feelings as them and openly express to each other. When seeing such a scene it feels so refresh and good that I can’t stop enjoying the book, the only thing that throws me off when I’m enjoying it is the lack of the mc other than that I love it

Overall – this is a really good read and I recommended it to any one that like’s harem, romance, comedy and ecchi manga it has good character development for the most part good amount of comedy and romance the ecchi happens in all chapters but I don’t hate it :3 the characters are really hard to hate. There or some downsides as I stated before the only big fault is the lack of the mc position be utilize seriously and if you rate this as a Shounen manga it should receive a 6/10 but other than that big pimple I feel it’s a perfect read to me Rating (to me as a manga) 9/10

kuku Yuragi-sou no ... This manga is kinda straightforward to me because of it's generic Jump-ish elements added in it, I can say that it's Story's uniqueness is not really its forte. Also the characters and their developments are pretty generic. *shush* wait wait wait I'm not saying it's bad [teehee.png] Some of them are refreshing(?) and I can say that mostly are good cliche but some are not so interesting. And yeah if you read its synopsis the MC is guy possesses a supernatural ability but that's not all, he got some fearsome ability hidden in his sleeves *drumroll.ogg*(NOT SPOILER)...... An ability to defy physics, damn, The rules of physics in this manga is really something that even skilled ninjas can't cope up with the gravity and dodge low speed attacks... You can't understand me? well.. I'm talking about Fan Service(fan sabisu) you can say "hmm..then just say it's a typical ecchi jump comic" yea.. yeah but it's 2 steps ahead from your normal ecchi manga. kuku

Art? Hmmm..... Normal. the backgrounds are niceu

Enjoyment? It was good! I really like its comedy and romance part. If you like action stuffs especially OP MC then this one is for you.

Overall it's pretty good because there is a legal loli in this manga..... Just Kidding haha ofc!!(don't report) seriously speaking it's niceu and interesting.

I'm pretty new to writing reviews so forgive me here.


Typically, when people think of ecchi harem animes they think of a single, strong, yet somewhat oblivious main character surrounded by a diverse array of female love interests. Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san follows that particular pattern but puts its own twists into it.

Story
Regarding the story, It's based on some pretty predictable fantasy elements: ghosts, youkai, ninja, cat gods, all of these have definitely been seen somewhere before. I find that the plot serves to mainly give the readers a good time, and its execution of such is pretty on par. There isn't a single chapter without clothing antics and it tries its best to show each girl's true colors when in the proximity of our MC Kogarashi-san. That being said, there are a few very notable moments within arcs that give you that warm desire to support your characters, as well as moments where you cry or contemplate alongside each girl to see what they can do to assert their dominance on the harm.

Art
I find that the art styles are truly divine in this manga, you can tell the creator put time and effort into drawing each character panel. There was even a panel that depended on the transparency of the page to see a full picture. Really impressed with the art on this manga.

Characters
Unfortunately, this manga is a bit cliche when it comes to characters, I'll quickly go over what someone would see of the main characters to prove my point
Kogarashi is you classic harem protagonist, very strong and capable, relatively handsome, and oblivious and "unfortunate" as always.
Yuuna is a very clumsy, silly, yet consistently kind girl, a very common trope when it comes to harems, or any character in general.
Miyazki is that classic over pushing distant classmate, she sees Kogarashi from afar and slowly but surely etches her way into the harem.
While all these characters follow cliche tropes, the individual character arcs did attempt to further deepen their stories a bit further. Unfortunately, it didn't go particularly well, as it only deepened their cliche tropes. I'd argue the one to receive the most development was Miyazaki with her 2 different character arcs, yet it still didn't do enough justice to push her away from her trope.

Enjoyment
Being a harem-style manga, the chapters mainly focus on antics with the main protagonist to try to get a laugh out of the readers, as I mentioned, there isn't a single chapter where either Kogarashi has ended up in the girl's hot springs or stuck within the cleavage of some unaware girl. The manga did find ways to spice up how he ends up in these situations, but after over 200 chapters of cleavages It's safe to say someone is going to get tired.

Overall
I'd say overall, this is a very enjoyable manga, a rare find for a harem-style manga, and a great way to waste away afternoons laughing as Kogarashi finds himself in one embarrassing scene over another

The very first thing you might notice when looking through this manga's page would be the 'ecchi' and 'harem' tags, which would make half of you give up on the spot, while the other half would already be reading the manga instead of this review. This review is primarily aimed at the former half, the group that is less than enthralled by stereotypical ecchi/harem fare.

Story (6/10):
The story of Yuragi sou no Yuuna san is pretty straightforward - a guy who can see and interact with spirits, ends up living with a hot ghost. Stereotypical enough? Well, throw in a whole inn full of hot non-humans/super-humans, all of whom are living with our protagonist. Sounds like something straight out of To Love-ru or Monster Musume, right? Honestly, you wouldn't be wrong with that comparison, although this one is a little different. While there are some decent arcs, most of them are just about pushing up the female characters' affection points.
There is no overall/central story to speak of, but the individual episodic story arcs are dealt with fairly well. The pacing is decent and there haven't been any major plot holes or the like so far.
This manga resembles Love Hina or Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou rather than the aforementioned titles. If you liked either of these titles, then you might like this manga as well.

Art (8/10):
I initially mistook the artwork for the work of Tosh (Shun Saeki), of Shokugeki no Souma fame, but it proved wrong. Only later did I realize that the resemblance was because Tosh was an assistant of Tadahiro Miura, the author of this one.
Anyhow, the artwork in Yuragi sou no Yuuna san is brilliant, with every detail being carefully drawn. The character art in particular, is top notch.

Character (5/10):
The main character in this manga is pretty decent, for a harem protagonist. He gets stuff done, is pretty powerful, isn't thickheaded and of course, is hilarious (unwillingly, most of the time). There isn't much more that I could ask of a protagonist... but the problem lies with the other characters.
All the other characters follow the common archetypes. There's the clumsy girl, the nosy-but-well-meaning classmate, the always-drunk older girl, the 'how shameless!' girl (you know what I mean), the cat-girl and the secretly-dangerous older-than-she-looks loli. They all get some small amount of development, with individual character arcs, but it hasn't really been sufficient to set them apart from their corresponding archetypal images.

Enjoyment (6/10):
It was enjoyable for the most part, and was a fairly quick read. I wouldn't call it exceptional by any means, but I wouldn't call it unreadable either.

Overall (6.25 ~ 6/10):
Altogether, Yuragi sou no Yuuna san is a decent manga, which manages to be fairly interesting, even with its ecchi and harem elements. Though there are some scenes which bear resemblance to To Love-ru, it is still fairly readable in its own right.

I think this work will be received differently by different people. It represents something in manga that I think alot of people are opposes to, but which some people enjoy greatly. Overall, I'd be worried if something like this ever became a major mainstream hit, but I think it serves its role well as a niche title.

Story: 95% of the time its a harem romantic comedy, but it occasionally veers into battle shonen. The story in most chapters is really more of an excuse for fan service, so you might argue its pointless to even consider, but its a decently original take on the harem genre, being a harem of ghosts, witches, and ninjas.

Art: This guy really should just draw porn. I don't mean that disparagingly, but he does draw some really cute monster girls, and is even pretty good at drawing battles when they pop up. Its hard for me to really judge his overall talent when 90% of what he draws is tits, but he's at least very good at drawing that particular thing.

Character: They're likable, but tend to fall into the cliches of the genre (ie the male protagonist is given very little personality at all, and the female harems personalities are defined mainly by how they pursue the protagonist).

Enjoyment: I think the main barrier to enjoyment is that there's too much fanservice. Don't get me wrong, fanservice can make good anime, but I think this manga could learn that sometimes less is more. Literally every single chapter is 40% either naked or cosplaying female characters. Its hard to get excited for this in such a long running series, since by this point, YOU'VE ALREADY SEEN THEM NAKED 10+ TIMES. Its god ecchi, but I think it gets tired after a while.

TLDR: This is To Love Ru on steroids. If you like ecchi, this is perfect for you. If you're not so into ecchi, is still decently entertaining for a while, though you might get bored fast.

Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san

This series tells about the supernatural specialist Fuyuzora Kogarashi who became homeless due to frequent involvement with the case of the supernatural. After completing a case he got a recommendation to live in a very cheap onsen due to the bloody reputation of the inn. There he meets a ghost named Yuuna who because he does not have the heart to drive him away, he aims to find a way to get him out of this world without regret. But apparently this supernatural onsen incident is not from Yuuna alone.

Story 6/10

in terms of the story may be the story line composed by Miura Tadahiro is easy to guess how the main characters such as how to cast spirits and others

maybe in the portion of the description I also do not really understand about the techniques and how to draw. if I think the picture made by Miura Tadahiro is pretty good from the eyes, body, and others.

perhaps in terms of characters where the main player Fuyuzora Kogarashi has an above average power, where there is a scene of yuna and his ninjas are kidnapped by a black dragon and used as a hostage to be the wife of the black dragon, where there is a battle between black dragon and kogarashi.Haga black in the story is said to have the power of holy spirit / similar gods in the scene kogarashi just hit the black dragon with one punch and it makes the black dragon fainted.

Enjoyment 10/10

although this anime never reap the criticism because it has a scene that is too filthy, still this manga is quite good. In terms of harem may make many fans jealous to kogarashi because it is surrounded by beautiful girls though ghost

I like the manga, I recently finished it. At first I was fine with the ending until I read the Epilogue. The epilogue made me feel sad and depressed. But other than that great story and art is real good. It's a good work of art except for the last chapter and the epilogue. Just wish that it had a better ending. It would've received full marks but the ending just ruined everything. Imagine all of the chapters combined together to make a tower. But then chapter 209 and the epilogue is the club that knocked everything down.
