Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
Before writing this review, I sat in my chair for 5 minutes chanting "Oh I have to review this shit pile". That's how much I hate this thing. It wasn't worth reading what there is and I want that time back, it's so awful. It's legit just someone's murder fetish. Note that this review contains spoilers for chapters 20 - 26 and that they're not censored or anything. I'm extremely sorry.

Story: 1
Revenge stories are something I enjoy when you understand why the protagonist wants revenge. I would say spend at least a volume on setting up the awful happenings that lead to revenge. Basically, the more extreme the revenge, the more time should be spent on why they want such terrible things. This manga gives a single chapter and expects us to go along with it. It makes the protagonist look immoral with how little we get to see. I became more invested in a shopkeeper's story and that was only there for what, a page?

Art: 2
It's extremely mediocre, nothing special. For something like this, it makes everything feel slightly off considering how distraught the characters are. Plus, there's too much fanservice. I've read Keijo, and it was really fun. But not this. There are just so many nude and lewd girls that it feels more like cheap hentai than a mind-bending manga that's supposed to make you question everything. I did not need to see a gigantic black spiky dildo.

Characters: 1
The main character is a Gary stu who is perfectly justified in the mass genocide and horrible atrocities he commits against innocent towns. In case he seems like a total villain, don't worry, this manga has the solution of instead of using the protagonist's horrid deeds to compare him to the bad guys and show how he's becoming what he hates and give a relatively interesting comparison, let's just make the bad guys even worse! See the sword hero? She's a rapist now. That makes her horrible cannibalism and rape justified. Fantastic. Plus, his harem is just a sex club.
Don't get me started on the bad guys, they seem bad for the sake of being bad rather than interesting immoral characters. Plus, everyone who doesn't have some positive relationship with the protagonist, his harem, or his village is pure evil unless they're not fully human.

Enjoyment: 1
This was literal torture to read. The disgusting fetishism, the horrid characters, and no elements I was promised. This sucked so much.

Overall: 1
Please do not read this unless you like mindless murder porn. I got so angry I want to create a fantasy world base. And I probably will.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
I haven't seen such a bad manga in a while. There are several reasons for this, but lets start from the most obvious:
1. Title is a lie. MC is called a healer and all his powers have "healing" in name, but they neither use healing effect, nor are linked in any way to healing. If in RPG you could imagine someone killing enemy with some kind of overheal or overgrowth, but here you should try to imagine something similar to "healing fireball". Sounds bad, doesn't it?
2. Story. It should be a usual "bad guys did bad things to me, so now I will have my revenge" type of plot. The problem here is that instead of moving to his goal MC starts gathering his harem from the start. Not only that, but the list of bad people for his revenge is so vast, that includes basically everyone who is not in his harem or at least has some link to his harem (like friends of his girls).
3. Characters/World. And why, you ask me, is this list of bad people so big? That is just because author, instead of trying to paint at least somewhat believable picture of a fantasy world with average joe being just a guy who works a farm for living, decided to make some kind of "MC may be bad, but everyone around him is worse, so whatever MC does is totally justified" world. And, just to fit this world, every single character that is against MC is just as edgy and evil as he could get, with no redeeming qualities at all. And, speaking of MC and his party, you will not find any personalities either: harem is just harem for sex, MC is stupidly overpowered with a set of cheating abilities for every situation and just does what he wants. And what does he want?
4. Sex. Yes, I will put it in a separate paragraph, just to give this topic as much focus, as the author does. Oh boy, it is everywhere. After reading all the chapters that were available, I could not get rid of impression that I read a cheap hentai. And in a cheap attempt to hide his wish-fullfillment dreams of sex author makes a "sex levels you up (if it is with MC or other heroes)" rule in this world. That's why everyone wants to have their way with MC, that's why MC uses it to power up his harem, that's why it is so hard to find a chapter where there is no sex.
5. Art. And to make it clear, what this manga is for, the only more-or-less decently drawn scenes in this manga are all for sex. Outside of this art is nearly non-existant, battles end in one swing/explosion, so no art here, all characters have one expression glued to their faces, so no art here either, backgrounds are just there so nothing special here too.

Enjoyment from this manga? Well, I must admit, at some point it became so bad that it started to be hilarious, but I can't really say that I had any enjoyment from this series.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
Well, so far I have found the other reviews to be to extreme, which is what prompted me to write this review.

Is this manga good? Well, that depends on taste but regardless it shouldn't be getting anything less than a 5 nor anything more than an 8 regardless of an individual's taste. This is due to reviews containing at least a few objective parameters or else they become meaningless.

I'd like to start by saying that this isn't a think very hard manga. You're supposed to go with the flow of the story and enjoy it for it's sadistic revenge elements. This is what the manga set out to do and does rather well. If you can't do that, then this wasn't meant for you.

I'll address the complaints I saw:

The major complaints seem to stem from the Hero's healing power. As it is actually explained in the first 5 or so chapters, the hero's ability isn't so much to heal. What it does exactly is undo time, whilst letting the hero experience the injury he is undoing. Through the "experiencing" the hero gains access to the person's memories, which allows him to learn some of the skills of the person and learn their info. In turn this allows the hero's stats to get boosted. The author does take liberties with this but so do most manga authors with their power systems. Overall, I don't think the MC's powers are so hard to get your head wrapped around of.

The exchanging of fluids with the heroes leads to stat boosts and that applies to all the heroes but the MC gets raped the most because he is initially weak, which allows him to be abused, which leads to the revenge story. The other heroes are strong to begin with and in a way or other related to the royalty so they go under no risk of rape due to the consequences of doing so.

Story: 7
The story is a sadistic revenge fantasy. The MC who is classified as a hero healer has the power I stated above but in the original run he gets abducted and drugged to the point he is completely addicted, and loses his mind, by the princess hero of the Kingdom. What follows is four years in which he is raped, beaten, tortured, and treated worse than a beast by anyone who wants to. This leads to him wanting revenge not only against his main abusers: the princess hero and the other heroes but also against the entirety of the kingdom itself. At the end of those four years, in the final battle against the demon king he is able to squash his addiction and regain his mind. Through regaining control of his will and body, he understands the various abilities he has gained and how he can use his healing abilities in combat. This leads to him defeating the demon king and using his heart, which acts as a magic amplifier, to 'heal' the world and turn back time by four years. There he begins his revenge, starting with the princess, by torturing her, raping her, and then altering her memories to alter her personality and make her his willing slave. From then on he begins his plans to bring down the entire kingdom.

Art: 6
The art is pretty bland. The details and artistic emphasis are left to the scenes which belong in a doujin. However, overall the art isn't bad, just not particularly detailed. As such it is clear and it is easy to follow the plot and fight scenes.

Characters: 7
The author allows you to see the transformation of the MC as a do-gooder village orphan to a man guided solely by sadistic revenge. He wants to see the world burn and whilst he won't hurt innocents for no reason he takes their deaths as further motivation for his revenge. The rest of the characters, well they redefine evil. Only when they meet someone even worse can you see their redeeming qualities as some of them have limits to their evil actions whilst others do not. Then there are the characters that the MC recruits in his revenge plan and whilst they constitute a typical harem, that is not their first role. Their first role is as useful companions needed for the MC to get his revenge.

Enjoyment: 8
You either laugh at how fucked up the plot and characters are or you revel in the revenge fantasy or a bit of both. Regardless, highly entertaining. The protagonist is dark gray morally and those are my favorite types as I see them the most human and natural.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
This is quite possibly the worst thing i have ever read. this is just your classic power fantasy manga which is fine those kinds of stories can be quite entertaining but where Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi (redo of a healer) goes with its revenge porn spin leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth with its abundance of rape scenes feeling gratuitous and uncomfortable. These scenes feeling like they serve two purposes.

1- In flash backs to make the bad guys seem bad when they rape faceless characters

2- To give the reader a feeling of power when the MC ends up either raping one of the bad guys or has others rape them

This ends up giving the impression that author just ended up shoehorning these scenes for cheap shock value and to appeal to edgy teens.

My problems with this book go further then the rape scenes the characters in this manga are the biggest scum fuck bastards i have ever had the displeasure of having to endure. The MC is the worst offender in a revenge story its pretty important that you want to see your MC succeed in their quest for revenge but of course the author was to busy trying to make the MC look like a bad ass (which he's not he is the lamest MC ever. he makes light novel harem doormat MC's look cool) that he forgot to make him look morally better than the bad guys, in some cases i thought he was worse than them. You could suggest that they did this to give the morality in the story a feeling of grey instead of it being black and white but not once do they put into question the morality of the MC's actions instead they parade him as good person which he's not. He can be just as cruel as the bad guys in this manga.

The one and only thing that i can give this manga is that the art is not a piece of shit, its not amazing but its not god awful like a lot of other light novel manga adaptations I've read.

There is so much more i could write about this manga like how the MC's power is fucking stupid or how poorly the bad guys are fleshed out with all of them being these boring one note characters. But it would take way to long and i cant be bothered.

I know that this is less of a review and more or less the mad ramblings of a man that has been subjected to the worst form of torture that is this manga. ramblings or not i do believe that this does have merit because to me this is one of the worst manga to ever be released.

But hey hearing that this is getting an anime adaptation gives me hope because if something this shit can get an adaptation maybe something actually good like Tokyo Revengers and I am a hero will get one.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi review
This manga is truly a waste of potential.

Story: 2/10
It started really strong at the beginning with his reasons for revenge and how he was planning to go about it. But slowly as the story progressed it felt like the revenge aspect was coming second to the "porn" aspect. Every other chapter has a sex scene and it just becomes hard to stomach. Not to mention within the first 13 chapters he already has a harem of three girls. The reason I find this disappointing is because the story had a chance to be a good revenge manga where you felt conflicted because both sides are bad but you choose to root for our mc. Yet adding him fucking multiple girls just to "advance his revenge plan" feels like some 13-year-old boys fucked up shitty fantasy writing.

Art: 7/10
The art isn't the best or worst I've seen. It has it's own unique little quirks.

Character: 1/10
Oh god, this is where the waste of potential hurts me. The mc's reasons were something we could get behind. Same for every character. Yet as the story progressed it lessens. The mc feels more like human scum rather than an antagonist.

Let me start by comparing it to a revenge plot I like, the rising of the shield hero. For Naofumi he still has moral struggles, he doesn't want to hurt innocent people compared to this mc. Anyone (females) he sees that is against him become his sex slave.

One thing I see people argue is that sex is a core mechanic of the story. That 1 he needs to fuck them to increase their level cap. 2 "to get revenge". Personally, it feels like poor taste to defend it. I understand where they are coming from but relating it to other revenge manga makes me disappointed. Because this manga went about it all wrong. It makes our antagonist start to become a man that no one can side with.

For the harem characters. Two of the girls went against him so he's tricking and using them. Then the other one where he uses her want for revenge to get her to side with him. I slowly started to hate them all. Why you might ask? Because this manga writes women so badly, they aren't complex in the slightest, plus the fact that the author makes the mc call them toys. Is just disgusting.

Enjoyment: 2/10
I enjoyed the premise at first. Revenge and such. I enjoyed the story building in the beginning until it progressed. It turned into shitty porn that I could read for free on websites like Wattpad. That is the quality of this shit writing.

Overall: 1/10
Dreadful yes, if you like porn and basic manipulation for horrible reasons where the mc starts to lose any sympathy, then this story is for you!
I love revenge stories but this manga was such a l disgusting let down.
