Sommaire
Nana, an apathetic 24-year-old with nothing much in her life, suffers a car accident and wakes up in her 14-year-old junior high body. As she lives through each day, she starts to remember things she buried deep in her memory, and she can now not remember being involved with her older sister, whom she deeply admires, and her sister's first love, a senior at her school.

HEPTAGON review
This is a story that contains time travel, focus on an adult on the body of a kid and has they go through a part of their early life one more time. This is a story about regrets, about a person that became lost and has an opportunity to find themselves again. A story that reminds us yet again that even though we don't think so, me might be too narrow minded, that we need to expand our view, know other better, know ourselves better.
Story: 7/10 A somewhat time travel tale that goes deep into the world of a narrow minded girl who is presented with an opportunity to broaden her world. It is presented in a good pacing and has a satisfying end. Art: 6/10 Even at first glance I could tell this was a josei manga. When it comes to that, it does its job pretty good, but I'd say there isn't a lot more to it than that. Character: 8/10 The story is being told from Nana's point of view, yet the characters around her are shown some sort of development (even if it is just because she is learning who they really are). The MC feels real, as in a world like ours people tend to shelf their emotions and become numb. Enjoyment: 8/10 I am not experienced in the josei genre, and it might be because of this reason that I enjoyed this manga a lot more than I expected. Overall: 7/10 A quick read that leads to some thinking: what made you, you? Is your world view more narrow than you think it is? Do you really know people as you think you do? |
