At a young age, a part of Chiaki Mikado's soul was bitten away by a peculiar dog with three heads. Unable to feel happiness and joy as a result, he lives his days deprived of positive emotions, faking smiles when the situation calls for it.
Eight years later, his father sends him a box from Greece. Inside it is a girl with three forms and personalities: Kuro, Shirogane, and Roze. With the form of Kuro, she tells him that she will be Chiaki's guard dog. The girl reveals that she actually is the guardian of the Gates of Hades—the Cerberus—and is the same creature that tore his soul. But this time around, she will help Chiaki smile again.
However, this task is no small feat. Due to the missing piece of his soul, Chiaki is a magnet for fiends and wicked spirits. Meeting rivals, friends, and foes along the way, Chiaki perseveres to regain one of the most important things to being human—the capability to feel.

Kyou no Cerberus review

Kyou no Cerberus review
First of all, im going to do this review in English, even if im from Spain. If anyone wants a Spanish review just talk to me.
Second, this is my first review, so be gentle ~KYOU NO CERBERUS | OUT OF SPOILERS~ ¿What´s Kyou no Cerberus? ¿Why should I watch it? Basically, Kyou no Cerberus its a original manga, where we have 3 in 1 girl, fights, comedy and a lot of embarrasing moments, with a half-soul human, Mikado Chiaki. The Cerberus: We have Roze, a cute, very cute, EXTREMELY CUTE kuudere ( Search Kuudere if you dont know what it means ) #TeamRoze We have Kuro, a full of joyl, everytime having fun and smiling. Its basically the Standar Waifu And the last one of the Cerberus, Shirogane, a strong girl and...a Tsundere, of course. Its always a Tsundere, just like in other mangas or animes. If you want to know why Chiaki cant smile anymore, and how he reach his perfect smile while fall in love, you must read this awesome manga |
Kyou no Cerberus review
Hi guys this is my first time writing a review here on MAL so please go easy on me,and since ther isn't any reviews on this I decided to make one for this manga. As of making this review I've Read up to Ch.54.
TBH honest I read this manga on whim since I wanted to read somethi g and stumbled upon this beauty of a manga, MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!! Art:9/10 The artstyle of the manga is very pretty looking and is really easy on the eyes every scene is beautifully drawn and the characters themselves look pretty good, the action scenes are well made and easy to understand,it easily gets you immersed into reading the manga as well. Story:9/10 The story is about a boy named Chiaki Mikado who is bitten by the cerberus eight years before present day of the manga which causes a chip in his soul which removes his ability to feel joy, prsent and we're introduced to an adult Chiaki who is socially awkward and is treated as a weirdo in his school because if his inability to feel joy,so others tend to avoid him,one day Chiaki receives a Mysterious looking package from his traveling dad,he opens the package,to only reveal a cute girl to suddenly pop out of the box, this mysterious girl is named Kuro and claims to be the cerberus and says that Chiaki's Father asked her to keep an eye on Chiaki ,she as well claims to be his guard dog to protect him from monsters that may attack him cause of the chip in his soul which is a very rare occurence and attracts monster, she also wants to help him return to normal. The story itself was reallt goos and interesting, though the harem tag might make you think that this is going to be your typical harem, but it's not,the story starts of a little slow but it picks up really quickly, the story manages to keep you interested in what's going to happen next chapter and plus the story gets better and better as you read further in the story Characters:9/10 Overall the characters in this manga are really the thinga that I really liked about his manga other than the interesting story,For starters it has well rounded and easily likeable characters, the story doesn't have too many characters so everyone is given time to develop their personalities, the members of Chiaki's harem all have great personalities though starting off pretty much like your stereotypical harem manga, all the the aren't introduced in the same time, some are introduced later in the manga,What I kiked with this manga like I mentioned earlier that each character is given a lot of time to develop their personalities as well as give depth as to why they like Chiaki, unlike a lot of harems where the male friends are perverts along with the MC ,this manga has none of that, the MC like many other harem protags starts of dense, but,as the story progressess gets less dense as he learns more about his situation and the people that surround him, The supporting characters aren't half as bad as I thought they would be,they, like the Main Characters are given time to develop, the supporting characters add a lot to the progression of the story as they help out the MC in accepting and learning more about his condition,as they help him return to normal. Enjoyment:10/10 I personally really enjoyed reading this manga, with its intersting story and well rounded characters that add a certain charm that makes this manga way more enjoyable compared to other harem manga.the development here is another thing to look forward to when reading this not just with the story but fo the characters as well. Overall:9/10 If you're looking for a good harem manga or even if you just want to read something good and interesting, then I highly recommend this manga to you with its heartwarming story sure to make you feel happy(not to mention sad) while reading m and learning a lot of valuable lesson in life as well Thanks for reading this though I'm Very sorry if there are any typos or grammar issues and for me being repetitive.and if I confused you a little while reading this review. That's all for now This is RandomPost signing out. |

Kyou no Cerberus review
It's the best manga I have ever read! Roze is best girl, do to reasons of course. I wish this manga had a anime. The reason I love this manga is the fights are great, characters are well made! The only thing wrong I can see is just the end, not going to spoil it because I can't. I highly recommend this manga to anyone who like myths like spirits.
Personally all characters are cute but roze stole my heart along with my soul! The art was enjoyable. As soon as I started reading the 1st fight got me stuck to the manga, yet waiting for the chapters wasnt always worth it. |
Kyou no Cerberus review
Now, my rating may look confusing and there is a single reason, the ending, it plain and simply sucks utterly. There is no other way too say that, the manga is really enjoyable but I am a person that dislikes the whole story if the ending is utterly shit because it ruins everything that came before as well.
Now, others probably dissagree with me but I do not care, if you write such a light hearted romantic harem story, the story should either end with an actual harem ending or the author should make sure to not write all the chicks as likable charas only to have most of them miserable at the end. Because that is exactly what happens in this manga at the end, all 5 are really likable but in the end 4 of them get a pure bad ending. |
