Matsushiro Kouta has a crush on a pretty yet kinda cold classmate of his. Sasara, the self-proclaimed angel, appears for a sole purpose of helping him, but her love magic—activating after counting down from 10 to 0 by using specific methods—brings lots of trouble to the protagonist's life. Also, little does he know about his cute childhood friend's feelings and how Sasara is not the only angel out there...

Countrouble review
>> My review may contain a few spoilers, you're being warned <<
Countrouble is a short manga, somehow lacking in content but still quite a bit enjoyable to read. What a shame it tended to rush a bit too quickly though, with some characters even left on stand-by. Story: 6/10 An usual stuff we got here: the main character Matsushiro Kouta has nothing special, and is just an average guy you can see everywhere, seduced by the seemingly cool and distant Yoshizawa Akino, unaware of what truly lies behind that face. Since he isn't good at anything in specific, he has to rely on an exterior source (an angel's magic), actually not really trustworthy but at the same time triggering his growth of dealing his personal issue on his own. Art: 7/10 Pretty casual art with some drama stuff being well depicted, but unfortunately often not with the attended results. I mean, the latter is not scaling well with the drama at numerous times. Even if it is not, it still makes you astonished because you generally don't expect events to turn out the way you expected to from seeing the characters' sensitiveness being illustrated (not restricted to the MCs). Character 6/10 Apart from Kouta and Akino who are what you are used to see, the only character I trulyenjoyed seeing was Masato (being at the same time Kouta's inspiration despite only being a supporting character...) and not just because of himself being a male tsundere. In spite of having his own sensitiveness, he is fine with the way things are, as long as people don't lie to him (or what I call someone being insincere in this case). But unfortunately, he is being left out after his own supporting story (with just a very few recurrent appearances) and the main plot is again centred around the MCs. I don't particularly hate the others, I'm just saying Masato was quite the original guy to see in this manga, for a change in this kind of stories. Enjoyment: 7/10 All that being said, the manga was quite fun to read (rather short but it's better than something being forcibly filled, added) in a forced way. It's a story with probably a really new set of supportive characters. Overall: 6/10 I enjoy this manga but not really not that crazy about it either. If you are looking for something in which the chapters come quickly one after another all while being linked together, you may like reading Countrouble. |

Countrouble is is a good casual manga. It stands out from the other mangas of the genre with the "help" of Sasara and her magic which creates unique romance and comedy situations. Also, the manga is slightly Ecchi, if you are into that.
The characters are what you would expect from a school romance, the easy going wishy-washy protagonist, the beautiful and shy best-student-in-the-class and the... childhood friend. The art got my attention, it has a distinctive style. Some pages have nice detailed art. I enjoyed reading it, it left me wanting to read more, which is always a good sign. |

tl;dr: A manga focused purely on comedy that’s only decent at it.
This manga is a rom-com gag manga. There’s very little that’s fully serious in the manga with the focus being much more on comedy than any sort of plot. Even when it seems like something serious is happening, in the end it often turns out to be just a joke. The problem is that while the humor is decent enough, it’s not good enough to hold up the whole manga. The various mechanics and situations arising from the magic are amusing, even if they don’t have any impact, but there wasn’t enough variety to things considering the humor was all there was really. The manga is centered around romance, but relationship development isn’t done particularly well with progress feeling pretty abrupt whenever it occurred. The character set also felt pretty flat and arbitrary. The exception to all this is the ending of the manga, which while still humorous, takes itself pretty seriously and despite this being a pretty major shift from the rest of the manga surprisingly actually manages to do a good if rushed job. The art is good although the designs are somewhat dull. |

This manga starts out pretty decently. The first chapter is actually quite good. It makes it seem like this is gonna be a story about a foolish boy who demands shortcuts, but unwittingly learns that his own effort and hard work will pay off more than any shortcut ever could. It's cool since it tells you a fun and romantic story while still having that meaning to it. The chapters each progress with a new gimmick, each involving some silly magic and some absurd consequence. Things are good for a while, but then the story sorta loses its focus with the introduction of new characters and opponents. The romance dies away and the story turns into an ecchi harem. In one scene, a girl is extremely horny, drooling, and basically trying to force herself upon the main character. There are some other stupid things like panty flashing and the main character having really shallow wishes, such as trying to force Yoshizawa to kiss him with magic, or trying to force her to show her breasts to him with magic. I thought the story was good when it actually seemed like it was gonna be about romance, not some little pervert with a rapist's mindset. Overall, it still wasn't bad, but things went over the top near the end of the manga. There was straight up nudity out of nowhere. When I first heard about this manga, I heard it was a romance story, not ecchi, not harem, and not porn. Needless to say, the porn was uncalled for and added nothing to the story - it was merely fan service. The ending feels out of character and unsatisfying. - - - A R T - - - The characters don't look too interesting. Girls blush a lot to try and look sexy or something. Yoshizawa's hair looks detailed and cool, though. - - - C H A R A C T E R S - - - They start out decently, but they don't develop much and end up feeling pretty bland and repetitive. Yoshizawa's character changes significantly for the worse. Whenever the main character does something offensive or inexcusable, he basically just tells her "I can't tell you why I just cheated on you, but I swear there's a good reason for it", and she stupidly just agrees with it and forgives him. She becomes a total ditz; she doesn't question anything he does, which just makes this feel like some loser's fantasy instead of a romance story. He never bothers to tell her the truth about the magic when a lover should be honest about important stuff like that. Yoshizawa becomes even worse later on, though, turning into someone with no self-esteem, just desperate to please him in any way, even when the magic makes him verbally abuse her and make her feel like shit. She lets herself be walked all over completely. It's as if the author thinks we're morons and that we'll accept any half-assed plot like that, too. Overall, it's decent, but the hentai, anti-romance, poorly executed ending, and Yoshizawa being a retard have caused me to give this a low score. |

In anime and manga, love tends to be one of the weirdest things to happen. This manga is no exception. Enter, Kouta Matsushiro who happens to have a crush on his classmate and is terrible at him trying to get her attention. One day a cupid (or rather a witch) named Sasara shows up in Kouta's life in order to solve his issue. Only problem is, her magic sucks. It leaves Kouta in often akward, yet funny situations where nothing he does goes according to plan.
Story: The story is pretty straight forward, guy falls in love with girl but fails to grab her attention. In comes cupid (witch) in order his problems. The story takes a turn a bit more than your typical romance manga in which the main character uses "Love Magic" in which certain requirements have to be met, such as "Pat your crushes head 10 times" or "Get your crush to say 'thank you' 10 times" Art: Typical with occasional emphasis to detail on some chapters. Characters: The characters were pretty funny and enjoyable to watch them in certain situations. Even the angels had their own running joke that doesn't get stale. Enjoyment: I found myself reading more and more until I was finally done. Overall: This is definitely one of many romance mangas I wouldn't hesitate to re-read for the sake of the enjoyable comedic situations and characters. The ending made it well worth reading. Definitely one for romance comedy fans. |

i'm someone who has watched a large number of anime and read alot of manga so immediately i started this manga its like i had an idea already what the continuation and ending would be like which is typically a kill joy
honestly when reading this i had a strong feeling telling me when will it end its somehow cliche the manga is awesome but it wasn't my cup of tea maybe if i had read this before reading and watching other anime and manga it wouldn't have felt frustrating to go through this. |

I really liked the storyline. The series is more or less short which is really nice. Basically, a start is about a boy who tries to impress a shy and seemingly hard to get girl. An angel then starts to help
Story - The story is a bit more unique than most other romance novels. At the beginning, I find it a bit more innovative. As the story builds on, it becomes a typical love and romance novel. The story is pretty fun throughout the series which is great. I found very compelling but not a manga that would leave a huge imprint in my mind. Art - Good artwork. Childish but fits the setting and mood of the story. Characters - The main boy character is pretty funny and clumsy. That's becoming pretty typical for these comedy love mangas. The angels involved in the story really make it funny and magical :). I thought they were the most unique. Angels who'd do anything to play video games are pretty cool. Enjoyment - I wasn't let down with this manga. I enjoyed it till the end. Overall - Definitely a 9. I really enjoyed it and would recommend reading it if you like comedy romances. |

Story - 7/10
Art - 7/10 Character - 6/10 Enjoyment - 2/10 Overall (using a very complicated formula) - 6.4/10 rounded down to 6. Story: Some cliches here and there, but the overarching plot concept leaves room for originality at certain points. Not your standard everyone-loves-MC kind of harem. Side stories feel forced, and makes little impact to MC's or plot. Art: So-so for a harem-romcom. Nothing decidedly beautiful, but not hard on the eyes. Standard run-of-the-mill designs. Character: Unremarkable. Could be because it's short compared to one with 70+ chapters, but there's not an overwhelming sense of attachment. Decidedly cliche personalities. MC isn't a total wimp, but not super awesome. Some character growth, but nothing groundbreaking. Enjoyment: Not for me. Incredibly frustrating to read due to a LOT of expectable plot-teasing. Makes you want to skip to the end. Ending feels forced and downright unnecessary, but pretty realistic. Okay to read through once but would not re-read. |

This is a manga that is something i wasn't expecting. Was expecting a interesting idea that after the first 10 chapters gets repetitive. But i was wrong it was fun all through out the series.
Only two issues i feel bringing up. ~~ Spoilers Beware~~ The MC's child hood friend Meiko has a crush on him. While it doesn't change much and the MC still ends up with his original love Akino. It just feels i guess sad would be the word or let down that she is just ends up accepting it. Just feel bad for her. The ending. While most endings would be annoying because they left too much left too dust or just overall bad ending. In this the ending wasn't really bad but i feel could've been more. Akino ends up having to move away. Both her and Kouta still go see each other every week. This is kind of a let down. Might have like something such as Kouta ending up moving to where she is going or something alike. The other thing is the angel ( Sasara ) She ends up leaving to continue her job. I kind of wished she stayed with Kouta. Hell would've liked if they both ended up going somewhere together. Such as him becoming an assistance to Sasara. ~~ Spoilers done ~~ Overall a fun story to read that kind of goes against the typical love stories. Would recommend if it sounds interesting to you at all. |
