After a night of drunken revelry, 19-year-old Kouta Satou decides to relieve himself near a seemingly secluded temple. Meanwhile, an angel is attempting to seal the queen of the underworld into a holy ball with his bow. Unfortunately, he misfires, trapping her instead inside of Kouta's unwitting balls. The angel departs, leaving Kouta a dire warning: if he fails to resist ejaculating before the end of the month, the queen will be released and mark the end of the world.
For the lustful Kouta, such a commitment is easier said than done; on top of using any means necessary to resist temptation, he must also guard himself from advances made by Elyse, a lesser devil who would resort to drastic measures to free her queen. In Oretama, the fate of the entire world rests upon the improbability of one man's chastity.
Note: There are five specials: Extra Ball 1-3 and Special Ball 1 & 2 are coupled with the tankoubon releases.

Oretama review
In a nutshell, this is an over-the-top fanservice comedy that had me hooked in the early chapters but became repetitive and dull as I read on. The premise is simple, yet absurd and does a good job of setting up the potential for hilarity. I definitely wouldn't recommend reading this for the story as the plot and character development are generic as they come, although for this genre that's pretty forgivable.
The characters for this story are very average, neither likable nor dislikable for the most part, although I somewhat liked Irene and Minayo. Female lead Elyse is a textbook, generic tsundere with hardly any unique characterization. Same can be said for the male lead and most of the villains as well. The art is solid when it comes to depicting cute (often nude) girls and lewd scenes. There isn't much else to be said in that regard. Scores: Story 4/10 Art 6.5/10 Characters 5/10 Enjoyment 5.5/10 Overall 5/10 *Scores are based on 5 being considered average. My enjoyment of this manga was probably up around an 8/10 for the first several chapters, but it gradually came down to being boring around halfway through, enjoyment was probably at 3/10 in the final five to ten chapters or so. So I averaged the enjoyment factor out to 5.5/10. Look, few people love fanservice and lewdness in their manga and anime more than me, but when that's ALL you're offering, it's hard to get a high score. In the end, all this manga had going for it was near-hentai levels of fanservice, respectable quality of art, and a few good jokes that got run into the ground. This manga is definitely worth a try if you fit the tastes of its target demographic, but the jokes and the premise may wear out their welcome and become boring long before the ending. All in all, this manga is just okay in my opinion. |

When looking at title, synopsis or score, Oretama doesn't look really tempting. I'm sure many people are turned off by those without giving this masterpiece a try. Mind you, I didn't use the word "masterpiece" in sarcastic way here.
In this review I'll try to explain Oretama's awesomeness! Let's start with genres. It says "Comedy, Demons, Ecchi, Romance, Seinen" and Oretama delivers exactly that: it obviously has demons, very cute and satisfying romance, hardcore/borderline hentai ecchi, some of the best comedy I've seen in a manga so far and it all in enjoyable seinen setting that allows to push stuff further than shounens. Despite absurd premise the story is really interesting. Saving world while trying not to cum for a month is sure different than usual world-saving settings, but it sure makes it easy to feel empathy towards protagonist and understand the feeling of pressure (both psychological and in his balls) he feels. Being first and foremost ecchi comedy, Oretama doesn't have (nor does it need) any overly deep stuff or mindblowing plot twists. It's simple, stupidly funny and damn erotic - exactly what it's supposed to be when you look at this title. Characters are similar to story - simple but effective. They don't have some deep backstories or complicated personalities. Main cast is pretty much what one would expect from such title: average protagonist and flat tsundere girl with pretty, somewhat airhead, girl in background. They aren't anything special but are nice to see and fit in their roles. Then there are side characters. From old-fart angel, through last-boss queen of hell to monster-of-the-week demon girls that attack protagonist, they were all fun and enjoyable to see. Because of nature of this manga those random demons coming for Kohta's cum were important for comedic (and erotic) purposes and, despite some of them appearing only in one chapter, very memorable - actually the scene I find the most fun personally was with one of those side girls. When it comes to art, Oretama shines where it matters - at ecchi scenes that is. Overall this manga isn't that pretty, but author really excels at drawing erotic stuff. Oretama could work better as fapping material than some hentai titles. This manga was on top of my favourite list since i finished reading it. Now, after reading Oretama again, my opinion still stands: it's the most fun and one of the most erotic manga I know. Add to it engaging story, satisfying romance and very solid ending. Enjoyment-wise Oretama is simply flawless. As long as you don't have problems with heavy ecchi, you should enjoy this manga. |

Oh man. I had so many good laughs with this one! My Balls is the most original thing i've ever read to this date. And i feel so sorry for the protagonist. Here is why:
So the whole thing starts when one night, our protagonist needs to take a pee. He finds a dark spot in a nearby park but by coincidence an angel was about to finish a spell to lock the demon queen of destruction inside a holy ball. Our protagonist happens to pee on that ball and the demon queen gets sealed inside his balls. So now, our virgin protagonist have the whole mankind resting on his shoulders(or should i say balls?). If he is to ejaculate during masturbation or sex, the demon queen will be released and all humankind is doomed to destruction. He must endure a whole month. And that month happen to be his lucky month according to a fortune teller. Hell is aware of this and they will send countless of hot devils, each with their specialties. Maybe satan herself may step into this (yes, lucifer is a girl. According to the manga that is). But the first one to go is a young virgin minor devil who is tasked to make our protagonist ejaculate. This is basicly a recipe of awesomeness. I am one for adult perverted humor and this manga features quite a lot of fetishes so it's something for everyone! The drawings are excellent and the whole setup was comfortable and easy to keep up with. The characters are funny and have unique personalities. And there is a nice balance of dialogue, drama and the ecchi/fanservice. Not too much of any and the pace is great. If you like hentai/ecchi in general you won't be dissapointed with this one! I had a great joy reading this and i think any fellow pervert would enjoy it as well. Funny, sexy and a sorry protagonist who have the worst task in the world! |

I was forced to read this manga or else spoilers for various anime would be have been dropped, but having said this... I really enjoyed this manga. It is the first one I have completed and although there is a lot of... (for lack of a better term) fan-service(??) once you get past that it really is enjoyable.
The plot at first sounds absurd but it really is funny and had me quite interested throughout - I really enjoyed the characters as all of them were extremely likeable and hilarious. Visually it is great (but have little point of reference) and I generally enjoyed this read overall. Definitely recommend for those who enjoy a good laugh! |

Who would've thought that the concept of a romantic lewd comedy could actually work.
It's basically hentai but it has a very good story. Normally a series with so many ecchi scenes would be considered in the hentai genre, but somehow the comedy and story completely steal the center stage and its almost like the ecchi stuff is just something on the side. The story, premise, and characters set up the jokes perfectly and they are hilarious. Harada-sensei has a way of writing that makes all of these elements that otherwise wouldn't fit together blend really well. If you're okay with the ecchi scenes, then please give Oretama a chance and read this wonderful series. TLDR; Romantic lewd comedy. |

One of those few ecchi manga that deserves to be read not just for its fanservice, but for its characters.
Condensed verion: Why you may pick this up: -Fanservice -Elyse -Interactions between characters -Elyse X Kohta -Interesting setup for plot Why you may skip this: -Heavy Fanservice (Arguable) -Weak ending Long version: Story-7: There is actually a story, and it is OK, if somewhat lacking in the ending. MC is (another) useless bum who is hopeless in life. Then, in a freak accident, the Queen of terror becomes sealed inside his... balls. To prevent the end of days, he shall not come. Yes, the story is as weird as the title makes it out. As the story goes on, demons (who all happen to be female, for some reason, and yet this isn't a harem) attempt to seduce MC in an effort to make him release his load and finally have demonkind rule the world. No, you are not going to get an epic 'hero defeats the demon lord and saves the world' plotline from a title like 'My balls', but the story is serviceable, and gives many opportunities for ecchi scenes. Nothing special, if not creative, but it isn't bad either. Characters-9: This is where, in my honest opinion, the manga really shines. We have the MC, Kohta Satou, the useless bum who destroys the world if he ejaculates, and one of the lesser demons sent to make him do just that, Elyse*. Kohta has a crush on his colleague, Minayo, but being the useless bum he is, he does not have the balls(?) to ask her out. As the story goes on, we see the MC try to hold it in as hordes of demon girls use an array of fetishes to get MC to blow his load and release their queen, while Elyse slowly falls in love with MC, and Kohta begins to make his move on Minayo. The chemistry between Kohta and Elyse is some of the best I have seen in ecchi romances. I genuinely felt the sparks fly between them, and I found myself rooting for Elyse even as Kohta progresses further with Minayo. Its one of the few reasons you may want to pick up this series. Well, that and maybe the ecchi. *just going to rant about Elyse here. She is one of the most cutest, beloved, and most expressive tsundere pettanko i have seen in a long time. Every time she is with Kohta, there is never a dull moment, from scolding each other, to dates, to her crying when she sees her beloved Kohta enjoying sex with someone else and being unable to do anything about it. Ok, rant end, on with the review. Art-8: its an ecchi series, so the art is usually good, by default. All the curves are there in the right places, and all the facial expressions complements the action going on. Characters are easily told apart, since all the different demons look like ecchi cosplayers. Enjoyment-9: I came for the story, and stayed for the characters. I was expecting a typical harem romcom where MC is so dense it is unforgivable, and I will then default to admiring the ecchi that this manga is priding itself on. What I got was an MC that becomes more likeable and becomes aware of the girls' feelings, a lead female that is just downright enjoyable (see rant), and good fanservice in between. Overall-8: If you want some quality fanservice with characters that are likeable, pick this up if you can get past the fanservice. The story is simple but doesn't commit any grave sins, but lets be honest, you are here for the ecchi and characters, not the story. IF you cannot handle fanservice, skip this, but only after reading through the first few chapters. It is entertaining, enjoyable and has memorable characters let down by an ending that doesn't do the romance between Elyse and Kohta enough justice. |

This is a very different story compared to the normal manga, it is a hentai. It is not a harem as most might misjudge it as, but i would put it in the love triangle realm. This is because there are only two love interests and no more. There is a huge sexual component but that is not what a harem is. I do think this is not a manga but it is definitely very good.
Now this guy who is bad with girls, gets drunk one night and decides to pee on a tree well to his misfortune there was a demon who needed to be sealed close by and the angle tasked with this misses the ball and hits his right nut. >.> ~WHAT? Lo and behold he now has a demon sealed in his testicle and needs to not cum for a month; but the way they show the time-line is terrible. Now he has the entire demon realm(Hell) going after him trying to make him cum. Oh what else happens during this time his dream girl makes the first move and asks him out, now I feel bad for him. Anyway if he comes humanity will be destroyed and demons will retake earth. When his girlfriend get drunk she turns into a nympho, to prevent an accident from happening a loli is sent to make him cum, he cuts her a deal for his soul to stop anything from happening. This is a weird relationship i'm not going to get into as it will take to long. Long story short, he holds out longer than he needed to, save humanity, fights major demons including Satan, loses his dream girlfriend, and gains a loli girlfriend. Satan is a female and falls in love with Michael after he bends her will to his sexual prowess. I found myself smiling during most of the story baffled by other parts but liking it overall unlike the two other reviews(1 negative and not finished by reviewer/ another maxed out rating which this is not)[as of 4/9/16]. Worth the time to read might take a week if read sporadically only 40ish chapters. |

I saw the Wikipedia entry and mailed it to my friends as a joke, but then they started reading it. So then I was like, well if they're enjoying it...
I don't know how this gets away as 'ecchi', just because there's no detailed drawings of the lower genitalia. It gets old after a while, but then a new priceless joke will pop up... and you keep reading. There's a level of depth in terms of an actual platonic relationship threatening to rise under all the sex going on, but I'll have to wait to the end to see how that ends. The creativity of what goes on in the story makes up for the lack of creativity in the plot. |

stacy please premature ejaculation is a completely normal problem i mean have you ever read the manga my balls where the protagonist gets satan sealed inside his nutsack i'm just like him!
no i don't actually have satan sealed in my family jewels it's just like in the manga i'm surrounded by all these nearly naked sexy women all the time so i can't help if i fire off prematurely like a bad hitman it's not my fault is it really that ridiculous to believe that much like the stunning and prodigious kouta satou i'd have issues controlling my young man's erratic behaviour due to the fact that i spend all day every day avoiding increasingly ridiculous and titillating events with ridiculously sexy women? no, no, i swear it's all true! it's almost as if forces from beyond our plane of existence and constantly conspiring to make me turn my underwear into a jackson pollock painting! in fact, that may be all that happens to me for 41 chapters straight! chapters? are you cottoning on to the fact that this lazy metaphor is getting played out and i haven't actually had my prostate destroyed by the most ridiculous no nut november challenge ever commited to any medium, visual or otherwise? needless to say i did not get laid that night |
